I’m thrilled that The Color Purple, the musical,  received the Grammy last gift for Best Original Cast Broadway Album! Having worked on the project with the composers for almost five years, it was a full circle, well deserved moment!  Bravo to  composers Allee Willis, Brenda Russell and Stephen Bray for their extraordinary work.. and to co-producer Frank Filipetti!  It was particularly special because I was there with Brenda to witness the moment of the win.

Because of  having a waiting list on the current Voice Gym, and by popular demand, I’m  thrilled to announce a my new Voice Gym beginning Thursday March 9th – April 5th!        The Gym will be from 7-10 PM.. Thursday nights and on Week 6th, a video will made of each singer’s best two  of the five songs worked on during the workshop.  Please email me at Bobgarrett.net for details and registration.
